Josue Gonzalez, Armed Forces Veteran and a dedicated father of two in the Franklin-McKinley School District, brings over seven years of experience as a lead project manager in A/V installation, where he mastered navigating complex contracts and diverse communications. His professional background has equipped him with skills in overcoming challenges and building effective partnerships. Concerned about the district’s achievement gaps and the board’s lack of responsiveness. Josue has actively attended school board meetings to advocate for necessary changes. Civic & Community Activity

Josue Gonzalez has consistently stepped up to volunteer wherever there was a need, taking on roles that others might shy away from. With extensive experience in classroom support and coaching, he serves as a positive role model, teaching children the values of hard work, respect, and the importance of family and education. Josue has dedicated his afternoons to tutoring his two elementary-aged boys alongside his wife and has contributed to the school site council during the pandemic. He led the Yearbook committee for the 2023-24 school year and, as an advocate for parental rights, has worked to inform parents about their rights and created a district-wide organization to amplify parental voices against unwanted influences in schools.
